Mr Steve Olech
College Advisory Council Chair

A proud old scholar (1987-1991), Steve joins the Advisory Council as Chair in 2023. With a passion for change and growth, Steve’s career has seen him take oversight of the direction and implementation of “game-changing” major projects across many industries. Steve has a dual focus in market currently as the General Manager - Sport for VALO and being a co-founder and Director of an Allied Health business with his wife.

Steve believes that Rostrevor has given him a platform for his career, his friendships, and his approach to life. With a sense of gratitude for shaping who he is today, his only goal is to support the ongoing growth of Rostrevor and provide the strongest of platforms for the next generation of community leaders.


Ms Jenny Paglia
College Advisory Council Member

Jenny joined the College Advisory Council in 2019. Jenny and her husband, John, have two children - Alex at Rostrevor and Grace who attends Saint Ignatius College. With tertiary qualifications in education and law, she has worked both in Adelaide and overseas in the public and private sector. In 2022, she joined Viterra and is Senior Legal Counsel. Prior to her current role, she was a Senior Associate at Wallmans Lawyers in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, with extensive experience and expertise across commercial and insurance litigation together with intellectual property. She is committed to promoting Rostrevor, particularly its encouragement of each boy to strive to be the best he can, and its focus on delivering a well-rounded education that values academic and co-curricular excellence together with student wellbeing, spirituality and a sense of social justice in the school and broader community.


Mr Vincenzo Salzano
College Advisory Council Member

Vincenzo is a proud old scholar (1983-1990) and joined the Board in 2022, with an ardent drive to promote Rostrevor College and the Edmund Rice ethos. Vincenzo and his wife Sophie, have three Children, two daughters, Aspen and Paloma who attend Loreto College, and their son, Orlando in Year 1. With tertiary qualifications in Commerce and Arts (History and Political Science), Vincenzo has extensive experience in Finance, Change Management, and Business Process Re-engineering. Vincenzo is passionate in ensuring each child has the opportunity fulfill their full potential, promoting the rich traditions of the College & the Christian faith and a strong commitment to inclusive education.


Mr Darren Lynch
College Advisory Council Member

Darren joined the Board in 2021. Darren and his wife Christina have two sons that have attended Rostrevor College with Charles finishing in 2021 and Harrison a current student.  Darren’s father and grandfather also attended Rostrevor College. Originally from the West Coast farming community of South Australia Darren is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive financial and commercial experience in various industries including the financial sector and aged care in more recent times. Darren is committed to ensuring that Rostrevor College continues its long standing reputation for providing opportunities to boys from all backgrounds to be the best they can be and be 'Men for Others’.


Mr Angus Massie
College Advisory Council Member

Angus joined the Board in 2022 as an old Scholar (‘17). Since finishing his education at Rostrevor, Angus has gone on to work in the Real Estate industry which has equipped him with many skills he is eager to apply through his role on the board. He is associated with the Rostrevor Old Collegians association through his contribution to major events and his role as Secretary of the Rostrevor Old Collegians Football Club since 2019.

Angus has a passion for Rostrevor which extends back to 2005 when his family first joined the college. He enjoys working with the other members to ensure the young men of Rostrevor have the best opportunities for spiritual and personal growth and that they can enjoy their time at Rostrevor as much as he did.


Mrs Olivia Brown
College Advisory Council Member

Olivia joined the College Advisory Council in 2022. Olivia and her husband Sam have 4 children, 3 sons at Rostrevor - Charlie, Ignatius, Oscar and a daughter Esther at Loreto College. Olivia has a long history with the college as her brother is an old scholar, Tom Brown (Class of 2000) and is now in her 10th year as a parent at the College.

Olivia ran a catering business in both NSW & Adelaide for many years before returning to Human Resources and Recruitment, now working at Perks People Solutions. With her combination of HR experience and passion for both staff and student well-being, Olivia is hoping to make a significant impact while on the College Advisory Council and work collaboratively with other council members to ensure the college is a place where students can thrive and reach their full potential.


Mr Michael Pastore 
College Advisory Council Member

Proud Old Collegian (‘00) and President of Rostrevor Old Collegian Soccer Club (2017-Present), Michael joined the Advisory Council as a member in 2023. Michael and his wife Romina have two boys attending Rostrevor, Dante and Orlando.  

Since finishing his time at Rostrevor, Michael has held various roles in Business Development and Management within Global Organisations. Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to the council, with a diverse background in Business development and management, he brings a comprehensive corporate advisory background, and a strong community network. 

Michael is a passionate and committed old scholar, keen to encourage each young man to aim for personal excellence, to be respectful young men in our community, and in seeing their future with the school go far beyond their schooling years.


Ms Leonie McAuley
College Advisory Council Member

Leonie joined the College Advisory Council in 2024. Leonie’s son, Knox attends Rostrevor and she also has a daughter, Meredith, at Pulteney Grammar School. Leonie is excited to join the Advisory Council as a first-time parent with the College.

Leonie is currently working as Chief Human Resources Officer & Inhouse Counsel with HenderCare and has gained over 15 years experience advising Boards and Executive on legal and people related matters. As a recent graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Leonie hopes to be able to contribute to positively across the remit of the Council.

Leonie understands the importance of an inclusive and well-rounded education which prioritises the wellbeing of students. She is hoping to bring a fresh perspective in collaboration with other council members to contribute to the future growth and success of Rostrevor College.
